Games You Can Actually Finish in a Break
Every game here starts in a couple of seconds and gives you a complete run before the bell - no download, no signup, no install. They run fine on a slow school Chromebook. Pick a category, or jump straight into one below.
Read the FAQ before you play. Seriously.
I got good at these games the boring way: by losing, and then by finding out that the thing killing me was a rule I had never been told. Most browser games explain nothing. You are dropped in, you die, and the game shrugs. So you assume you are bad at it, when actually you just did not know the shot arc changes with distance, or that dashing locks your direction for a full second, or that the piece you place first is the one that ruins the board.
That is what the FAQ on each game page is for. Not "is it free" - that part is obvious. The questions that matter are the ones a player actually asks on their ninth attempt: why do my three-pointers keep missing, why does my stack keep getting narrower, what happens if I miss. We answer those because we hit them ourselves, on the same games, usually more times than we would like to admit.
Thirty seconds of reading turns a game you were bouncing off into one you can actually get better at. That is the whole difference between playing something for two minutes and enjoying it for twenty - and it is the only reason anyone ends up decent at a game they did not design.
